Letter From The President

JUNE 4, 2012

Dear Fellow Members,

It is an honor to serve as your President. I wish to thank my predecessor, Guy Stout M.S. CWE, and fellow board members for their commitment of time and energy which has helped shape the Society into what it is today. We are all living in a time of change and uncertainty which provides both opportunities and challenges. The same is true for the SWE, though it is with confidence that I state that while we are seizing new opportunities to enhance our credibility and visibility in the wine and spirits’ education marketplace, we are also dissipating the uncertainties by building upon the strong foundation to make our society both viable and preeminently successful. I look forward to seeing many of you at our Seattle Conference in August, which will no doubt build upon the success and accolades of last year’s Orlando Conference, and look to hearing from you, fellow members, on how to continue to build upon our success. Thank you for the trust you have placed in me for this leadership role. I raise my glass to all of you for Wine, Wit and Wisdom.

Sincerely,
Edward M. Korry CHE. CSS, CWE
