The Society of Wine Educators 43rd Annual Conference will be in Washington, DC August 14th to the 16th, 2019, at The Mayflower Hotel. Conference Registration will open in early spring 2019.
Conference highlights include: CWE Boot Camp, Virginia winery tours, evening events featuring local wineries and distilleries, network opportunities, and over 50 different seminars.
WHY SHOULD YOU ATTEND?
The Society of Wine Educators' Annual Conference is the longest running wine education event. For over 43 years, SWE has been providing an opportunity for educators, students, and enthusiasts to come together to learn more about wine and spirits.
We provide resources for educators to take back and integrate into their own programs. We provide students the opportunity to learn from and engage with the top educators in the field. With over 50 sessions and master classes each year, our conferences will provide you the opportunity to learn and study something new and exciting.
HOTEL AND TRAVEL INFO
SWE’s 43rd Annual Conference will take place at the Mayflower Hotel, Autograph Collection, listed on the National Register of Historic Places and located in the heart of Washington, D.C.

The Mayflower is located at 1127 Connecticut Avenue, NW, between M Street and L Street, NW. The hotel does not provide airport shuttle service; however, estimated taxi fare from Ronald Reagan Washington National Airport is $23 (one way). The Mayflower is also located blocks from the Farragut North (Red Line) and Farragut West (Orange, Silver, and Blue Line) metro stops. Ronald Reagan Washington National Airport is located on the Blue Line. Valet parking is also available.
